Abstract:
To obtain a weather-resistant film usable instead of a PVC weather- resistant film having similar transparency and mechanical properties as the PVC weather-resistant film and excellent weather resistance.
This olefin-based weather-resistant film is obtained by compounding 40 pts.wt. of a polypropylene, 60 pts.wt. of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer being a hydrogenated triblock copolymer obtained by bonding a vinyl-polyisobutylene to a polystyrene, 0.2-1.5 pts.wt. of a photostabilizer and forming the mixture into a film having 50-500 μm thickness.
