Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the composition having a good balance among transparency, heat sealing temperature and tearing strength by mixing two ethylene/α-olefin copolymers of different properties with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 60-95wt.% ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a melt index(MI) of 0.1-25g/10min, a density of 0.900-0.940g/ml, a degree of branching of 10-40/1000C atoms and a maximum melting point (Tmmax) of 110-130°C as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) and 40-5wt.% ethylene/α-olefin copolymer of a melt index(MI) of 0.3-15g/10min, a density of 0.890-0.910g/ml, a molecular weight distribution of 2-5 (in terms of a weight-average molecular weight(Mw) to number-average molecular weight (Mn) ratio) a width of the molecular weight dependency of a branching degree of 0-5/100C atoms, a content of o-dichlorobenzene solubles of 10wt.% or below and a maximum melting point of 115°C or below (DSC).
