Abstract:
To provide an olefin copolymer excellent in compatibility with a polar resin (e.g. nylon) and its preparation method.
The olefin copolymer is composed of 0.01-20 mol% structural units derived from an ethylene (co)polymer having, at its one end, a vinyl- or vinylidene-type unsaturated bond and 80-99.99 mol% structural units derived from a monomer represented by general formula (I) (wherein T is H or a 1-4C alkyl group; and Y is a methyl group, a double-bond-containing alkyl group, a halogen, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, a halogen-containing group, a nitrogen-containing group, or an oxygen-containing group). The olefin copolymer is produced by radical polymerization.
