To obtain an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer excellent in oil resistance, heat resistance, compression set, moldability, and recyclability and to provide a seal comprising the elastomer.
The olefinic thermoplastic elastomer is obtained by melt-kneading a graft copolymer which comprises an oil-resistant ethylene/propylene copolymer segment and a vinyl copolymer segments and in which one type of the segments forms a dispersed phase in which another segment is dispersed in the form of particles as fine as 0.01-1 μm, an acrylic rubber formed from a monomer mixture mainly consisting of 10-90 wt.% methoxyethyl acrylate, 5-85 wt.% alkyl acrylate, and 5-15 wt.% acrylonitrile, 0.01-10 wt.%, based on 100 pts. wt., in total, of the graft copolymer and acrylic rubber, a crosslinking agent in an amount of 0.01-10 wt.%, based on 100 pts. wt. of the total of the graft copolymer and acrylic rubber.
