Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefaction apparatus and liquefying method which can suppress commingling of a flame-retardant or coated material into oil species.SOLUTION: A separating liquid 41 with intermediary specific gravity between an oil content 42 and a precipitate 43 is poured to a separation tank 13 from a separation liquid tank 16. The liquid recovered from plastics separates into the oil content 42 and the precipitate 43 depending on the difference of specific gravity. A first liquid level sensor 38a and a second liquid level sensor 38b are provided in the separation tank 13 for detecting the interface between the separating liquid 41 and the oil content 42. A control section 15 controls a pump 18 and valves 36, 37 based on outputs of the first liquid level sensor 38a and the second liquid level sensor 38b. By making the separating liquid 41 stand between the oil content 42 and the precipitate 43, the oil content of good quality with small commingling of flame-retardant or coated material can be recovered.
