Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency and the output torque by displacing a pole and a salient pole at the prescribed distance and holding it at starting time, and energizing by a position detection signal in response to the rotation of a rotor by an exciting coil, thereby balancing the magnetic attracting forces of the rotor and a stator. CONSTITUTION:The poles 3a-3d of an armature 3 are separated at 90 deg., exciting coils 4a-4d are mounted, and salient poles of a rotor 2 are rotated oppositely to the poles 3a-3d through a slight air gap. Poles 3a-3d and salient poles 2a-2f are displaced at the prescribed distance and held at the starting time. The coils 4a-4d are controlled to be energized by the output of the position detector secured to the prescribed position of the body whenever the rotor 2 rotates in the width of the poles 2a-2f.
