Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the one side welding method capable of forming back beads without using a backing metal in welding in all attitudes.
SOLUTION: In the case of applying one side welding to the object to be welded having a root gap, a flux cored wire for gas shielded arc welding containing at least one kind of Al or Mg in the flux and making the oxygen content of a weld metal ≤250 ppm by the wire is used as a consumable electrode, DC straight polarity of gas shield arc welding with the wire as negative electrode and with the object to be welded as positive electrode is executed, back beads are formed without using the backing metal and one side welding of the object to be welded is executed.
