PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing body opening and closing device capable of preventing incorrect operation.SOLUTION: An opening and closing body opening and closing device has a first section which is thick in a normal direction of a face 30 on a front side and has a rotation shaft 64, and a holding part 24 consisting of a second section thinner than the first section. The opening and closing body opening and closing device has an operation handle 12 which is rotatably supported by a substrate 10 disposed in an opening and closing body 16 and displaceable between a storage position in which the holding part is stored in a storage part 18 formed on the substrate and a projection position in which the holding part projects from the storage part. A first sensor part 46, which detects an operation to unlock the opening and closing body, is disposed in the holding part. A second sensor part 32, which detects an operation to lock the opening and closing body, is disposed in the operation handle so as not to overlap the holding part in side view seen from the normal direction of the face on the front side of the operation handle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
