PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of the subject apparatus by using a plurality of doffer cylinders connected in series, setting the circumferential speed of the latter-stage cylinder to be higher than that of the former stage cylinder, placing a dust-removing means at the lower part of each doffer cylinder and connecting a pneumatic transportation channel to the doffer cylinder of the last stage.

CONSTITUTION: The circumferential speeds of doffer cylinders 6a, 6b... are made to be higher at the latter stages and the dust is removed successively in the order of weight with dust-removing means 7a, 7b.... The doffer cylinder of the last stage is connected with a pneumatic transportation channel 8 for the next step and the fiber cleaned by separating and removing the dust is transferred to the next step. The doffer cylinders are driven with a common driving source and, accordingly, the increase of the apparatus cost can be minimized and the dust-removing capacity can be improved.
