Abstract:
To provide a lock operable with a reduced opening force which is configured in such a manner of eliminating the air pressure difference between the current highly airtight living space and the outside to assist the force required to open the door.SOLUTION: A lock operable with a reduced opening force which has a function to assist the force required to open a door when there is an air pressure difference thereacross, includes: a lock case that can be installed inside a hinged door; a leverage rod whose tip protrudes from a hole formed in the door front surface of the lock case and is formed in an elongated slender shape in the forward and backward direction; a shaft to which the center of the leverage rod is pivoted; and an operation part that engages with the rear end of the leverage rod to actuate the rear end in the inward and outward direction, in which the leverage rod is capable of swinging the tip in the inner and outer direction about the axis as the axial center by the force received from the operation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
