Abstract:
PURPOSE: The opening roller is made hollow and provided with needle blades or garnet wires on its surface and through-holes are opened from the hollow to the roll surface to facilitate the removal of the fine fibers clinging on the needle tops.
CONSTITUTION: The opening roller 1 is made hollow and a variety of through- slits 3 are bored horizontally in parallel on the surface and garnet wires 4 with depressions are wound around the roller surface. Or a number of needles 8 re planted on the peripheral surface of the hollow opening roller 1 and a plurality of through holes 9 are bored.
