Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively hold a vehicle door at a specified-open angle.
SOLUTION: An arm body 2 is energized to rotate toward the rear face of a vehicle door D. In association with opening of the vehicle door D, the arm body 2 is rotated around a different axis from the vehicle door D, and its tip 22 relatively moves on the rear face of the vehicle door D. A recess 321 is formed in a regulating plate 32 of a movement regulating member 3 provided on the rear face of the vehicle door D, and when the vehicle door D is opened to a specified open angle, the recess 321 receives the tip 22 of the arm body 2 relatively moving on the rear face, to impede its movement. When a handle 43 is operated, a regulating release cam makes the tip 22 of the arm body 2 escape from the recess, and the tip 22 becomes movable again to make the vehicle door rotatable again to open/close.
