Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driven blind shutter which can be operated during power failure.

CONSTITUTION: In an opening unit A for a motor-driven blind shutter, a motor output shaft 4 which is loosely fitted in a tubular motor shaft 3 and projected from the opposite ends of the latter, is fitted thereon with a worm wheel 7a. A worm 7b meshed with the worm wheel 7a is coupled to a manual control shaft 10. Accordingly, even upon power failure, slats of the motor driven blind shutter can be simply opened and closed, and further, it is possible to simply provide the above-mentioned arrangement at a low cost.
