To provide an operation device which can prevent an erroneous operation.SOLUTION: An operation device 100 operates an electrical instrument. The operation device 100 comprises: a body 200; and a lid part 300. The body 200 comprises: a switch 220; and a switch arrangement part 210. The switch 220 is arranged on the switch arrangement part 210. The lid part 300 covers the switch arrangement part 210. The lid part 300 is attached to the body 200 while being rotated. When a state of the switch 220 is different from a specific state among a plurality of states, the lid part 300 shifts the state of the switch 220 to the specific state from the different state according to the rotation of the lid part 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
