Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of keeping the highest position of an adapter within a transportation control height without replacing a support link for supporting the adapter during transportation of the work machine.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel includes an adapter 5 pivotably connected to an upper frame 4, a support link 6 supporting the adapter 5, and a rotation preventing member 8. The support link 6 takes a stretching state ST1 in which links 61, 62 linearly extend and a bending state in which the links 61, 62 are bent in a dogleg shape. The highest position 5H of the adapter 5 supported by the support link 6 in the stretching state ST1 is higher than a transportation control height HT. The highest position 5H of the adapter 5 supported by the support link 6 in the bending state is lower than the transportation control height HT. A connecting part 63 is disposed so that the rotational axis of a connecting pin 9 is located behind a machine from an axis line 6A of the support link 6 in the stretching state ST1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
