To provide an operating toy in which a receiver is operated by slanting a transmitter, which gives predetermined scenes visually, and with which a user can have various pseudo-experiences through a play.

This is an operating toy which shows predetermined scenes having a story through a transmitter and a receiver and gives pseudo- experiences to its user. The transmitter has one of an audio generator, an electric wave generator and a light generator. The receiver has either a receiver receiving the audio or electric wave signal from the audio wave generator or the electric wave generator, or a light receiver receiving light from the light generator. The receiver also has an operating part and a driving mechanism for operating the operating part. When the transmitter is slanted, the operating part gets in operation and a predetermined scene play is enabled.
