Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of a blast furnace by improving the circular balance of a blasting quantity of each blast branched pipe.
SOLUTION: The blasting quantity of the blast branched pipe in each tuyere is measured with a blast branched pipe blasting quantity measuring instrument arranged at each tuyere during the operation of the blast furnace. When the circular balance of a relative blast branched blasting quantity in each tuyene obtained by dividing the measured each blasting quantity by an average blast branched pipe blasting quantity is judged as bad, the blast branched pipe blasting quantity in each tuyere is controlled so that the relative blast branched quantity becomes in the range of 1±α (wherein, 0≤α≤0.1) by contracting the opening degree of a hot blast control valve of the tuyere whose relative blast branched pipe blasting quantity exceeds 1±α/2 to stabilize the blast furnace operation.
