Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a range of documents compatible with automatic imaging for respective pages using a page turning device.SOLUTION: An operation control device controls a page turning device which updates a page to be imaged by performing page turning operation for turning respective pages of an opened document, from a currently opened page to a page to be opened, while securing stand-by time W as requested by a user between every period of time after completion of one page turning operation before starting the next page turning operation. The automatic image can be successfully done without being affected by sheet thicknesses of respective pages and the like, owing to securing the stand-by time W requested by a user who takes into consideration the sheet thicknesses, rigidities of respective pages and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
