Abstract:
To provide a control method and a controller capable of reducing a water supply amount when a load changes during once-through operation, while maintaining soundness of the whole heat transfer pipe of a once-through boiler.SOLUTION: An operation controller (70) of a once-through boiler (10) that supplies water to a heat transfer pipe (53) of a boiler and takes out superheated steam generated by heat exchange with an internal heat source, is configured to: divide the heat transfer pipe into a plurality of areas; calculate a minimum amount of water supply that can maintain once-through operation by a different method for each area; and perform control to adjust a water supply amount to the heat transfer pipe during the once-through operation with an allowable water supply amount, which is the highest minimum water supply amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
