Title:
OPERATION CONTROL METHOD FOR SOLAR BEAM POWER GENERATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3253836
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary the operation of a load continuously while following up the variation of sunshine by controlling the operation frequency of an inverter based on the direction of charge/discharge current of a battery.
SOLUTION: A DC current generated from a solar battery 10 is converted through an inverter 20 into an AC current for operating a load 30. 4 When the generated power exceeds power consumption because of increase of sunshine, excess current is stored, as a charging current 41, in a battery 40. When power consumption exceeds the generated power because of decrease of sunshine, a discharge current 42 is fed from the battery 40 in order to supplement the power deficiency. A current detection means 51 detects the magnitude and direction of charging current 41 and discharge current 42 and an ammeter 52 delivers a 8 bit signal to a program controller(PC) 60. The RC 60 switches a set command value while monitoring the direction of charge/discharge current constantly thus operating the system.
