Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain the operation of an electric expansion valve better in the switching of operating condition between heating and defrosting operations.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor 21 is connected to an outdoor heat exchanger 23, an electric expansion valve 25 adapted to let a refrigerant flow in two directions and a room heat exchanger 31 to be linked direct to the compressor 21 to form a refrigerant circulation circuit 1. The refrigerant circulation circuit 1 is provided with a four-way changeover valve 22 to allow the switching of the cycle between the cooling operation and the heating operation. In the switching of the operating condition between the heating operation and the defrosting operation, a closing operation is started to close the electric expansion valve 25 and after the start of the closing operation, the four-way changeover valve 22 is changed over when a specified time passes.
