Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a distributing reservoir from a shortage of water even when a state where the outflow quantity of water exceeds the inflow quantity of water continues by changing the set water levels of the reservoir at which a water pump is actuated and stopped by time and raising the water level before the state where the outflow quantity exceeds the inflow quantity occurs. CONSTITUTION:This operation controller for water pump is constituted of a water pump 11 which feeds water to a distributing reservoir 10, inflow flow meter 12 for measuring the rate of inflow, outflow flow meter 14 for measuring the rate of outflow, controller 17 which inputs the water level 13 of the reservoir 10, reservoir level set circuit 15 which controls the water level, the output 16 of the circuit 15, and pump power circuit 18. the water level 13 changes depending upon the rates of inflow and outflow. The controller 17 inputs the water level 13 and outputs a water pump actuating command even when the water level is higher than a lowest set level LL depending upon the highest and lowest levels LH and LL set by the circuit 15 for the stoppage and actuation of the pump so that the water level does not drop from the lowest level LL. Therefore, the distributing reservoir can be prevented from a shortage of water and water can be supplied stably.
