To provide an operation controlling method for a washing-drying machine which can accurately perform a completion detection even when a plurality of drying action patterns are set when the drying completion is judged with an exhaust air temperature as data, and by which there is no fear for performing a wrong judgement depending on states of apparels.
The washing-drying machine is equipped with a hot air feeding means which feeds hot air into a washing-dehydrating tub from the upper surface side of the washing-dehydrating tub at the time of a drying process. A plurality of action patterns by combinations of a fan blowing, the rotation of the washing-dehydrating tub and the rotation of rotating blades are set for the washing-drying machine at the time of the drying process. In the washing-drying machine, a temperature sensor for detecting the drying completion is provided. The exhaust air temperature is detected by the temperature sensor when the process is switched to the drying process of the last pattern from among a plurality of the action patterns, and the exhaust air temperature is set as a reference temperature. Then, the drying completion is detected when an exhaust air temperature detected after that has risen by a specified value from the reference temperature.
