Title:
OPERATION DEVICE OF DOLL EYES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000296276
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To not only enable doll's eyes to make expression in a similar manner the human eyes do but also make the eyes moving as if a doll is alive without generating noise at all by operating eye balls simultaneously, driving the eyes up and down by a repulsive force or an absorptive force, and having a control means for controlling a driving means by electric signals from a memory sec tion.

This eye ball of a doll's eye 5 is formed of an eye white 5a and a pupil 5b, and both eyes are composed of a single member. The eye ball 5 is provided with a magnet 4 constituting an operating part on the rear lower surface, and is axially supported so that the eye ball 5 sees front by own weight of the magnet 4 when the doll is in a vertical condition. Opening of a power source generates a magnetic field in a coil 3 by an electric signal controlled by a microcomputer, and rotates the eye ball 5 to the arrow direction by repulsion between the coil 3 and the magnet 4. When this motion is seen from front, a motion of nictation is observed. After that, when an absorptive force works, the eye ball 5 returns to the original front position to become the eye opened condition.
