PURPOSE: To provide an operation managing method and an equipment for it capable of collecting operating data of a manufacturing equipment in an arbitrary form depending on the case.

CONSTITUTION: The equipment is made up of a data output section 1 outputting an operating state, not operating state and not operating state due to trouble of a manufacturing equipment or the like in the form of classified state signals, an input section 2 receiving the state signal outputted from the data output section 1, a storage section 3 storing sequentially the state signal outputted from the input section 2 together with time information, a command input section 4 having a classification log input means 4a to give a command on the log of each state signal or the like, an arithmetic section 5 calculating the state signal stored in the storage section 3 based on the command from the command input section 4 and a display section 6 displaying the operation result of the arithmetic section 5.
