PURPOSE: To set many operation modes by the reduced number of bio-function detection means, by providing an operation mode setting circuit for a stimulation apparatus and performing a plurality of bio-function operations on the basis of the control signal obtained from one detection means.
CONSTITUTION: An operation mode setting apparatus 15 for a stimulation apparatus detects the remaining function of a paralytic 9 to supply a digitalized control signal to a functional electric stimulation computer 3 and the stimulation data stored in the memory means 4 of the functional electric stimulation computer 3 by said control signal to stimulate a plurality of the electrodes 5a, 5b... embedded in the paralytic 9. A plurality of the operation modes of bio-function are set by the control signal obtained from at least one detection means 1b.
