Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation unit used mainly for operating various kinds of electronic apparatus in a vehicle interior and a switching arrangement using the same capable of ensuring reliable operation while prevent decorative members from being damaged.SOLUTION: An operation unit 13 includes a decorative member 12 which has a generally ring-like shape and is metal plated. The decorative member 12 is formed with a notch groove 12B or an insertion hole in the vicinity of an engagement hole 12A or a catch on a side wall. With this, the notch groove 12B and the insertion hole allow an inner wall 12C of the decorative member 12 to be elastically deformed with a small force, and the decorative member 12 can be attached to an operation part 1A of a movable part 1. Thus, the operation unit and a switching arrangement using the same, which ensures reliable operation while preventing the metal plate from getting damaged, are achieved.
