Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply cooling steam of suitable temperature and pressure to gas turbines of a multishaft type combined cycle power generating plant even when the number of gas turbines in operation changes, and pertinently recover the steam after cooling to a steam turbine plant to suppress the output change of the plant low.
SOLUTION: In this operational method, reheat steam systems 37a and 37b control pre-pressure. When the exhaust gas is sent as cooling steam from a high pressure turbine 27 to high temperature parts 40a and 40b of gas turbines, the steam from intermediate pressure drums 23a and 23b of exhaust heat recovery boilers 3a and 3b is joined to the exhaust gas to cool the high temperature parts of gas turbines. Then, the steam is recovered through an intermediate pressure turbine 28, and relatively low temperature steam is supplied from the exhaust heat recovery boilers to the high pressure turbine to operate the high pressure turbine at a constant pressure. A power generation plant is provided with intermediate pressure superheating vapor systems 38a and 38b of the exhaust heat recovery boilers which are respectively connected with cooling steam supply systems 39a and 39b of the high temperature parts of the gas turbines, and cooling steam recovery systems 41a and 41b are connected with the reheat steam systems.
