Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silicone hydrogel contact lens ophthalmic compositions that can inhibit the adsorption of chlorobutanol to silicone hydrogel contact lenses.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic composition for silicone hydrogel contact lenses is prepared by using (A) chlorobutanol in combination with (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, alginic acid, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and salts thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
