This ophthalmic surgery simulation method has a step of measuring light quantity distribution characteristics of the light flux formed of a reflected light flux from the fundus oculi of the eye to be examined, comparing a first ophthalmic optics characteristic function of the eye to be examined calculated from a measured value with a second ophthalmic optics characteristic function calculated from measured optical data of respective elements of the eyeball optical system of the eye to be examined, and matching the first ophthalmic optics characteristic function with the second ophthalmic optics characteristic function while changing at least one of the respective optical data relative to the first ophthalmic optics characteristic function; a second step of establishing optimal optical data of the respective elements of the eyeball optical system by the matching; and a third step of changing at least a single optical data to be collected by the ophthalmic operation out of the optical data established by the second step and computing the ophthalmic optics characteristics after the operation based on the changed optical data.
