Title:
OPHTHALMOLOGIC EXAMINATION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3880209
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly recognize a blood vessel and to shorten the time for processing.
SOLUTION: Electron scanning for every line of lines shown by 11, 12, 13,... is executed within an image pickup range I of a two-dimensional image pickup element and the two-dimensional video signals of the blood vessel Ev is outputted. Since the scanning direction is regulated perpendicularly to the traveling direction of the blood vessel Ev at the time of the measurement, the subsequent processing is necessitated to be relatively simple. The video signals for every line of the lines 11, 12, 13 are sampled on the basis of the start signals of the respective line scanning and are added to a signal line buffer, by which averaging is executed. The output signal of the line buffer after the execution of the addition processing for one frame is subjected to the correction of the background and is subjected to the reduction of noise by filtering with a low- pass filter. A zero cross point is thereafter detected by differential processing, to determine the blood vessel position.
