Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ophthalmologic film formulations in which a pigment, a test agent, or a local anesthetic transfers to the ocular surface rapidly with lacrimal fluid present in the ocular surface, without requiring dropping of physiological salt solution, and to provide therapeutic agents used with the ophthalmologic film formulations.SOLUTION: The ophthalmologic film formulation 10 according to the present invention comprises a water-insoluble support 20 and a water soluble film 30 containing a pigment, a test agent or a local anesthetic, and polyvinylpyrrolidone, wherein a part of the surface of the water-insoluble support 20 is contacted with the water soluble film 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
