Abstract:

PURPOSE: To calculate the line direction connecting the measuring eye and the non-measuring eye by detecting the position of the cornea reflected image of the measuring eye by a first projecting optical system and detecting the position of the cornea reflected image of the non-measuring eye by a second projecting optical system.
CONSTITUTION: An optometry device body 1 is moved in the position where the cornea reflected image of an LED 5 can be detected in accordance with the detection signal of a position detecting element 6. The measuring eye is the right eye when an LED 8 for the non-measuring eye is flickered and the cornea reflected image thereof is detected on the position detecting element 9. The measuring eye is the left eye when an LED 8' for the non-measuring eye is flickered and the cornea reflected image thereof is detected on the position detecting element 9'. The LED 8 or LED 8' with which the cornea reflected image is detected and the LED 5 are then alternately flickered. The angle of inclination of the line connecting both eyes of the eye to be examined with the horizontal reference of the device is calculated when the images are deviated from the reference position on the two position detecting elements.. The correction computation of the axial angle, etc., is executed in accordance with this angle of inclination. The average value is calculated after such measurement is a prescribed number of times. This average value is as the result of the measurement.
