Title:
OPTICAL ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR COPYING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3481691
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily execute adjusting work or assembling work and to stably keep a height position after the adjusting work by setting the winding direction of a spring in a reverse direction to the clamping and rotating direction of a screw.
CONSTITUTION: Since the twisting direction of the adjustment screw 20a is generally right, the screw is formed in the direction that it is clamped by being rotated clockwise. The winding direction of the spring 21 is left and reverse to the direction that the head of the screw 20a is formed. By rotating the screw 20a, the height of a roof-mirror unit 13 on the other end side is adjusted. Then, the skew of an image is adjusted. When the screw 20a is turned in a loosening direction(counterclockwise) after the adjustment, a compression spring 21 tries to drag in the direction that the twisting thereof is released(loosened). Therefore, since the spring 21 is set in a stretching direction with respect to the looseness of the screw 20a, it functions as the stop of the looseness.
