The system has a means for detecting a line-of-sight of the observer, a calibration means for calculating a correction value for correcting the line-of-sight position calculated by the means for detecting the line-of-sight, a means for collecting the distribution of line-of-sight points for obtaining information on a plurality of line-of-sight positions when the observer gazes the same one point, and a display means. The means for collecting the distribution of the line-of-sight points is also implemented simultaneously with the implementation of the calibration means and the degree of the variation in the distribution of the line-of-sight points is displayed on the display means in accordance with the output of the means for collecting the distribution of the line-of-sight points.
