Title:
OPTICAL BEAM DEFLECTION SCANNING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01161211
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rapidly execute the two-dimensional deflection scanning of optical beams and to arrange the title mechanism in a small space without using two deflection mirrors by using linear bodies for the transmission of a deflection angle to two axes intersecting with each other at the center of a plane mirror. CONSTITUTION:A pivot 28 is arranged on an intersecting point between two orthogonal axes 26, 27, the plane mirror is fixed to the pivot 28 to form a movable part, a pair of fixed driving motors 33, 35 are respectively independently coupled with the two axes 26, 27 of the movable part through the linear bodies 371, 372 to transmit X and Y deflection angle values, to make optical beams from a light source 21 incident upon the intermediate part of the plane mirror 23 and to deflect the reflected light two-dimensionally. Since the driving systems are mutually independent, deflection light 24 in the two-dimensional deflection can be controlled by simultaneously applying optional deflection command values. Consequently, necessary image drawing can be rapidly executed on an exposure face 25 by optical beams.
