PURPOSE: To facilitate the leading-in operation of a cable to a subscriber extremely by installing the optical terminal which has an entrance and an exit for a cable for demultiplexing and numbers of connectors for subscriber lead-in cable connection.
CONSTITUTION: The optical branching terminal in an installed state consists of an optical branching terminal 1, cable 1 for input-side distribution, cable 3 for output-side distribution, and connectors 41W4n for subscriber lead-in line connection. The cable 2 for input-side distribution and cable 3 for output-side distribution are fitted to both end parts of a housing 1a, and optical fibers 51W5n are arranged between the cables 2 and 3 for distribution. Further, branch cables 61W6n are connected from the specific optical cable 5n among the optical cables 51W5n to the connectors 41W4n for subscriber-side lead-in line connection.
