Abstract:
To realize a single core two-way fully duplex communication type optical transceiver, having a simple and inexpensive structure which dispenses with a lens and a prism or the like and is used in an optical communication system and in its communications equipment.
The optical transceiver for communications equipment, which transmits signals by an optical fiber cable is provided with a transmitting part 2 and a receiving part 3 and also incorporates a Y-shaped optical distribution element 16 having a multicore structure which is connected to the transmitting part 2 and the receiving part 3.
