Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component excellent in reliability of optical performance under a high temperature environment.SOLUTION: An optical component of the present invention includes a cycloolefin copolymer (A) and a hydrophilic agent. The cycloolefin copolymer (A) is a random copolymer of α-olefin having 2-20 carbon atoms and a tetracyclo[4.4.0.1.1]-3-dodecenes indicated by [I]. The tetracyclo[4.4.0.1.1]-3-dodecenes include an endo-isomer (I-A) indicated by [I-A] and an exo-isomer (I-B) indicated by [I-B]. The molar ratio ((I-A)/(I-B)) of the content of the endo-isomer (I-A) to the content of the exo-isomer (I-B) is 0/100 or more and 60/40 or less. A constitutional unit derived from the tetracyclo[4.4.0.1.1]-3-dodecenes is a structure indicated by [II].SELECTED DRAWING: None
