Title:
OPTICAL COUPLING SYSTEM FOR SPATIAL TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017221293
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling system for spatial transmission that achieves optical coupling in which an optical transmission distance between a light emitting element and a light receiving element is substantially constant even when a solid body and a rotating body relatively rotate.SOLUTION: An optical coupling system for spatial transmission constitutes optical coupling by a light emitting optical system provided to a rotating body and a light receiving optical system provided to a solid body. The light emitting optical system demultiplexes an optical signal from the light emitting element and emits the signal from parallel beam collimators for emission provided to the rotating body at equal intervals. The light receiving optical system receives the optical signal by M prisms, M parallel beam collimators for light reception, an optical multiplexer, and the light receiving element, and convert it to an electric signal. The light receiving optical system is configured so as to cause the optical signal to be incident continuously by arranging the prisms so that the reflection surfaces continue in a stepwise fashion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
