CONSTITUTION: A light absorbing layer 2, a light reflecting layer 3 and a protective layer 4 are successively laminated on a substrate 1 and the thickness of the respective layers are set so as to become an interference structure at the wavelength of recording and reproducing light. The light absorbing layer 3 is constituted of a compd. represented by the specific formula [wherein R1-R4 is a 16 or less C alkyl group, R5 and R6 are a substituted or non-substituted alkyl or aryl group, A and A' are an aromatic ring capable of being substituted with an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or halogen and may be fused to other aromatic ring and X- is (R'BR)- (wherein R1 is a substituted or non- substituted aryl group, B is boron and R is a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group].
