Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a production method of optical devices by which an optical device with a desired convex curved surface can be produced without heat treatment at high temp.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic material layer formed on the surface of a device material 1 is shaped to the pattern according to the shape of an optical device to obtain a relief plastic material pattern 2 according to the pattern. High hydraulic pressure is applied on the plastic material pattern 2 to change the surface of the plastic material pattern 2 into one or more convex curved form 2A. Then the plastic material and the device material are subjected to dry etching to transfer the convex curved form 2A to the device material 1 by engraving. Thus, one or more desired convex curved forms are formed on the device material 1.
