Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct the curve of an image transmitted through plural lenses.

CONSTITUTION: The optical device is provided with image elements A, B such as 1st and 2nd lenses for receiving light from an object along an optical axis OX and transmitting the light as output images and a field curve correcting device arranged between both the elements A, B and including an optical fiber device FO having an optical fiber array 20 consisting of plural optical fibers arranged in parallel with each other and also in parallel with the optical axis, and the array 20 is provided with a 1st end part 20a arranged along a 1st curved surface corresponding to a predicted field curve of an output image from the lens A and a 2nd end part arranged along a 2nd curved surface 20b generated by the 2nd lens B on the opposite side of the predicted field curved surface, so that an accurate output image can be outputted from the 2nd lens B.
