Abstract:
To provide an optical disk, its manufacturing device and method that enable a picture to be printed on printing faces without being restricted by a through-hole in the center of disk substrates.
The disk substrates 27, 27a are provided with data readout faces 12, 12a on which recording areas 3, 3a are formed and with printing faces 11, 11a which are the opposite side from the reproducing and/or recording laser beam incident faces 12, 12a and which are for printing pictures. In the center 5 of the disk substrates 27, 27a, there are formed removed parts 35, 35a that form a through hole 7 penetrating the reproducing and/or recording laser beam incident faces 12, 12a and the printing faces 11, 11a.
