PURPOSE: To obtain such an optical disk that has excellent productivity and quality stability and causes no deterioration of mechanical characteristics of a light-transmitting substrate in the production process nor bubbles remaining in a dry photosetting film, to obtain an optical disk having a high recording density and a high transfer rate, and to obtain a production method to produce these optical disks with simple facilities at a high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A dry photosetting film 2 in uncured state is formed on a light- transmitting substrate 1. This film 2 has 3500-400000 poise viscosity at room temp. in an uncured state and 5-200μm thickness in an uncured state. Pit grooves 5 are formed in the film 2 by pressing at room temp. and the film is cured with UV rays. Then, a reflecting film or a recording film 3 is successively laminated to obtain an optical disk. Further, pit grooves 5a and a translucent reflecting film or recording film 3a are additionally formed between a light- transmitting substrate 1 and a dry photosetting film 2.
