Title:
OPTICAL ELEMENT EXCHANGE DEVICE FOR MICROSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3429575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous insertion and erroneous operation from being executed at the exchanging time of an optical element by reading the identification information of the optical element on an optical axis to be specified identification information by an exchange command and controlling the rotation of a rotary turret based on the identification information.
CONSTITUTION: The rotary turret 23 holding the plural optical elements 22 is freely rotatably provided on the inside of a universal condenser 21 and the rotary shaft 24 thereof is driven to be rotated by a rotary turret driving mechanism. When the optical element 22 positioned on the optical axis 23a is exchanged, the cover 213 of the aperture part 212 of the condenser 21 is removed first. Besides, it is detected by a sensor 25. By a controller 27, the identification information of the element 22 positioned according to a through-hole 211 where the optical axis 23a is passed is read to be the identification information of the element 22 which should be positioned according to the through-hole 211 when the element 22 is moved to the aperture part 212. Based on the identification information, the rotation of the turret 23 is controlled.
