Title:
OPTICAL ELEMENT HOLDER AND OPTICAL MAGNETIC FIELD SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2601123
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an optical element holder capable of simply fixing the optical element and excellent in mass-production by providing three grooves having mutually parallel bottom surfaces and a through hole for light transmission perpendicular to the bottom surface of the groove.
CONSTITUTION: A through hole 11 is provided on a holder 16 perpendicular to the holder surfaces 18, 19 being parallel with each other around the center axis of the line passing through the center of the holder 16. A shallow groove 12 and a deep groove 13 having parallel bottom surfaces to the holder surface on the side of the holder surface 18 are provided, respectively. The groove 12 and the groove 13 are mutually orthogonal. A groove 14 having a parallel bottom surface with the holder surface is provided on the side of the holder surface 19. The groove 14 extends in the 45° direction to the grooves 12, 13. A magneto-optical element and a polarizer are fixed on the groove 13 and the groove 14, respectively, so as to fill up the throughhole 11. The polarizer is fixed on the groove 12 so as to cover the through hole 11. Consequently, since the complicated optical adjustment of optical elements is not reqired, the magnetic field detecting part of an optical magnetic field sensor is manufactured.
