To provide an optical element having an excellent optical performance and uniform performances and a manufacturing method thereof, and a resin material for the optical element, an optical head and an optical disk device.
The manufacturing method has a first process wherein a substantially spherical resin lump constituted of a resin is molded by injection molding, a second process wherein a spherical resin material 31 is formed by grinding the resin lump and a third process wherein the resin material 31 is formed with heat and pressure by using a forming mold 32.
