Title:
OPTICAL EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY FOR OBSERVING PANORAMA SCENE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3967784
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up an image of a panorama scene on a flat focal plane.
SOLUTION: The optical equipment assembly (100) for observing the panorama scene includes plural optical elements. A flat reflecting element 116 directs light again from the panorama scene. Plural refracting elements 104 and 108 receives the redirected light from the reflecting element continuously and generate actual pupils 114. An optical relay system 112 receives light from the last refracting elements among the elements. The optical relay system 112 establishes the focal length of the optical equipment assembly 100, corrects optical aberrations generated by the actual pupils, and corrects visual field aberrations to form an annular image on a flat focal plane assembly 306. The optical equipment assembly 100 generates a small F number with a visual angle perpendicular to the optical axis 120 of the optional equipment assembly 100 over the panorama scene.
