Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct angle drifts corresponding to temperature changes of an optical-fiber gyro device.
SOLUTION: An optical-fiber gyro device has a light source 20, and a first photocoupler 22, a polarizer 24, and a second photocoupler 26 which are placed in an optical path 16. Light made to branch off from the first photocoupler 22 is fed to a feedback signal generating circuit 34 via a photoelectric conversion circuit 30 and a synchronous detecting circuit 32. An output of the synchronous detecting circuit 32 is fed to the other optical path 14 via a clock circuit 40 and a phase-modulation signal generating circuit 42. An output of the feedback signal generating circuit 34 is fed back to the optical path 12 and output from a line 50 as data. A temperature detecting means 110 is provided to detect the service environment temperature of the optical-fiber gyro device, which is fed to an angle data correcting means. The angle data correcting means 120 corrects using temperature data an angle data output θr input thereto from the feedback signal generating circuit 34 via the line 50, and outputs the corrected angle data θ to a line 130.
